Surveillance Review

Pricing

You pay for what gets analyzed, not for hours you own.

Surveillance Review charges in The unit you buy. One credit pays for a small amount of AI description work; the app spends them only on frames that reach the AI stage, never on the footage itself., and a credit is tied to the A single still image taken from the video — one moment. The AI describes frames, not the whole file, which is why quiet footage costs almost nothing. actually sent for The only paid stage: a frame is sent to the AI for a written description of who is present and what they appear to be doing. Nothing else leaves your machine. — not to the length of the footage you feed it. No subscription, and credits never expire.

How credits work

An hour of an empty driveway costs almost nothing.

Charging by the hour of footage would mean charging the same for a quiet night as for a busy afternoon, when one of them costs us almost nothing to process. Credits track the expensive part — the frames that survive motion detection and object detection and reach the AI stage.

In practice that means the levers are yours. Excluding a public road with a zone, or scanning eight hours instead of twenty-four, cuts the cost of a case directly. The app shows your own credits-per-hour average as you go, so the estimate is based on your footage rather than on ours.

Work out what you need

How many credits is a job, really?

You are not paying for hours of footage — you are paying for the moments something moved in them. That is why the same twenty-four hours can cost wildly different amounts, and why this is a range rather than a number.

What does the camera look at?

Roughly what that costs

400 – 1,000credits

One camera watching residential for 24 hours.

It is a range because two cameras pointed at similar scenes still differ — a windy day, a busier afternoon, a light left on. You only pay for the moments something actually moved.

Starter covers this — 5,000 credits for $19, with room left over.

You can always buy more later — credits never expire, so there is no penalty for starting small.

These rates come from real runs, not a model. Once you have used the app for a week it shows your own measured credits-per-hour, which beats any estimate on this page — including this one.

What a credit buys

One credit is one still image, described.

The app only sends frames from moments where something actually moved and survived object detection, so how far a pack goes is a question about your footage rather than about the pack. These are the rates the app records across real runs.

A quiet driveway overnight
~3 credits an hour
A pack of 5,000 covers weeks of it.
A typical mixed site
~25 credits an hour
5,000 credits is roughly 200 hours.
A parking lot on a main road
~200 credits an hour
5,000 credits is about one full day.

Finding the movement, cutting the clips, the timeline, the The list of events the app surfaced, waiting for you to confirm or dismiss each one. Nothing goes in a report until you've looked at it., the reports and the exports are all done on your own machine and cost no credits at all.

Billing

Questions about paying for it.

What happens if I run out of credits part way through a job?
The run finishes. Motion detection, object detection, clip cutting, the timeline, your review and the report are all built on your own machine and none of them use credits — only the AI descriptions stop. When you top up, Fill in descriptions picks up exactly the frames that were missed, without touching any confirmation, dismissal or note you had already made. Nothing is paid for twice.
Do unused credits expire?
No. Credits never expire and they roll over indefinitely. There is no monthly reset and nothing to use up before a deadline. Buy a pack for one case and the remainder is still there next year.
Is there a subscription to cancel?
There is no subscription. Nothing recurs and nothing is charged automatically — you buy a pack when you need one, and that is the entire commercial relationship. The software keeps working with a zero balance; it simply stops writing AI descriptions until you top up.
Can I get a refund?
No. Credits are a one-time purchase and aren't refundable — the other side of credits that never expire, so nothing you buy is ever lost to a deadline. If you have a question about a purchase, contact us.
Is there a free trial?
Not as such — every AI description costs us money to produce. The smallest pack is $19, which is enough for a real case. The better test is free: book a demo and watch it run live, start to finish, with someone who can answer your questions.
