Generate the report and export the case
A report drafted from your confirmed events, as ordinary text you can rewrite, and an export folder with the clips.
The Report tab builds a first draft from the case: letterhead, objective, a summary, the key findings with the pictures and captions you marked, the footage reviewed, and any case notes you switched to Include in report. It is ordinary text — rewrite as much of it as you like.
Generate it
- Confirm the events that matter on the Events tab.
- On Report, click Generate report. Generating costs nothing and takes a moment.
- Switch between Edit Markdown and Preview. Edit in the first, read it as it will print in the second. Save as new version keeps your edits; every version is kept in the dropdown at the top, and nothing you write is ever replaced.
Regenerate report rebuilds the draft when you have confirmed more events or changed captions. The summary paragraph you wrote and the notes you included survive a regenerate; the counts and the event list are rebuilt.
Let the AI write the summary
Write summary has the AI write the summary paragraph from your confirmed events — what they show, in order, without drawing conclusions. The button shows what it costs in credits before you click, and Rewrite summary does it again later. Anything you typed into that paragraph is replaced; everything below it is kept.
Letterhead and your details
The report's letterhead, logo and footer come from Settings → Business and Settings → Reports. Set them once; every case uses them.
Export the case
Click the export button at the top of the Report tab and choose a folder. The app writes a new folder named after the case number containing Report.html (opens in any browser), Report.md (the editable text), an images folder with the key frames, clips.zip with a video clip for every confirmed event, and a READ ME.txt explaining the layout. Everything written is a copy — your footage is not moved or changed — and a second export never overwrites the first.
