Review events: confirm, dismiss, annotate
Every event is a clip, a still and a timestamp. Confirming is what puts it in the report; dismissing keeps the reason on the record.
The Events tab opens with four counts — events surfaced, footage analyzed, how many still need your review, how many involve people — and a footage timeline with a marker per event. Click a marker to jump to it. Day and night are shaded from the footage itself, not the clock.
Find your way through the list
The chips filter the list: All, Needs review, High confidence, People, Vehicles, Day, Night, Confirmed, Dismissed. The search button (⌕) finds events by what their description says — "pickup", "headlights". The progress bar beside the heading shows how many of the events you have dealt with.
Each event card shows the still, the time range and duration, the description, and tags for what was seen and how confident the detection was. Full footage ↗ plays the original video at that point. Click the ⤢ on the still, or the still itself, for the large player.
Confirm or dismiss
- ✓ Confirm marks the event as real and worth reporting. Pick a tag if one fits — Subject arrives, Vehicle departs — and add a note if it helps. Confirm & open next moves straight to the next one.
- ✕ Dismiss takes it out of the active list but never deletes it. Give a reason — Passing traffic, Animal, Lighting change, or your own words. The reason stays with the event, so months later the record shows not just what you found but what you looked at and set aside.
- Reopen puts a confirmed or dismissed event back into Needs review.
Notes and descriptions
Annotate opens every note and dismissal reason for the event and lets you add another; each is stamped with your name and the time, and edits stay visible. The description itself can be edited with the pencil beside it — your wording replaces the AI's, and the event shows · edited.
Trim the clip and mark the key frame
In the large player, the Clip row adjusts where the clip starts and ends — −5s / +5s on either end, or Edit start and Edit end for an exact time; Reset restores the original. Scrub to the frame that best shows what happened and click ◎ Mark frame: that frame becomes the event's thumbnail, is exported with the clip, and is the picture that appears in the report, with whatever you type under Caption printed beneath it.
