Follow, heat maps and Find this
Who moved through each clip and how long they stayed, where they went in the camera's view, and every other clip they appear in.
When footage is analyzed, every person and vehicle in each event's clip is tracked through it. Tracking runs on your computer and uses no credits. Footage analyzed before version 1.5.13 can be tracked with Follow on its row in the Footage tab.
Follow
Each event card lists what moved through the clip under Follow — "Person · 12s", "Car · passing". In the large player, each one is outlined on the video. Click a chip to pick one out; the others dim. ⟋ Paths draws the route each one took. Parked cars are recognized and kept quiet, and the AI's description uses the tracked movement, so which way something went and whether it stopped are measured rather than guessed.
Heat maps
Heat map on the Events tab shows where people and vehicles went in a camera's view: faint where they passed through, hot where they stayed. Choose People or Vehicles, narrow the time with the slider or Nights / Days, and click a hot spot to list who was there, each with a link to the moment in the clip.
- One camera, many files. Give each file its camera's name on the Footage tab; the app suggests which files show the same view. Pick the camera in the heat map and a month of daily files becomes one map, with the time window as time of day across every day.
- Compare with… puts a second map beside the first: people against vehicles, nights against days, or another camera.
- Add to report puts the map in the report as a figure, with what it shows written under it.
Find this
- Open an event in the large player and click the person or vehicle under Follow.
- Click Find this person (or vehicle). Every other clip in the case is ranked by how alike it looks — Strong, Possible, Weak. Click a picture to watch that clip.
- Tick ✓ Same on the right ones and Save as subject. Name it — "Subject A — red jacket". If any of them already belong to a subject, the app offers to add them there instead.
A subject is your record that several clips show the same person or vehicle. Every subject in the case is listed under Subjects at the top of the Events tab, next to Heat map: click one to show only their events, or Open it to find more appearances, write notes, rename it or delete it. Wherever they appear, the video tag carries the subject's name, and the report gets a Subjects section listing every appearance in time order.
