Several cameras
Watch every camera at the same moment, and follow one person across them.
A case can have footage from several cameras — say, one at the front door and one facing the street. The app can show them side by side at the same moment, and find the same person on all of them.
Set up
- On the Footage tab, click + Camera on each file and name its camera, for example "Front door" and "Street".
- Set each file's start time (Midnight, or Other time and the time shown in the video). The app needs this to line the cameras up.
- Analyze the files as usual.
Watch every camera at once
Open any event and click All cameras. Every camera plays side by side, at the same moment — for example, a car pulling up on the street camera while someone reaches the door on the door camera. Cameras with no footage at that time are listed separately, with when they do have footage.
Follow someone across cameras
- Find more searches every camera in the case at once, and shows which camera each match came from.
- Once you've saved the person as a subject, Where … went shows where they went on each camera.
- Want to search your other cases too? Turn on Search across cases under Settings → Analysis.
