Find the same person or vehicle again

Pick someone in one clip and see every other clip they appear in. Then keep them as a subject for the report.

Spotted someone of interest? The app can look through all the other clips and show you the ones most likely to show the same person or vehicle. You check each one and say yes or no. The app suggests; you decide.

Search

  1. Open an event and click the person or vehicle in its list.
  2. Click Find more at the bottom of the event.
  3. A window shows the closest matches first, labeled Strong, Possible or Weak. Click a picture to watch that clip.
  4. Click Same on the ones that show the same person or vehicle, and Not on the ones that don't.
  5. Click Save as subject and give them a name, like "Jason" or "White van".

Subjects

A subject is a person or vehicle you've identified across several clips. Click Subjects at the top of the Events tab to see them all. Click a subject to show only their events, or Details to open it.

When you open a subject, you see three groups:

  • Confirmed — the clips you've said are them. Made a mistake? Click Same again to take one out.
  • More that look alike — new possible matches for you to check.
  • Ruled out — the ones you said were not them. Click Not again to put one back.

From a subject you can also add notes for the report, see Where … went (a heat map of only them), and choose whether they appear in the report.
